About This Coffee
Redd Summer offers a blend of two natural processed and two washed processed coffees. The natural Papua New Guinean coffee brings lots of red fruit notes, while the Brazilian natural coffee brings a rich chocolaty body and provides a classic, rich, and full-bodied profile. The washed Colombian coffee brings sweetness and hints of citrus to the cup while the Peruvian coffee rounds out and balances the cup.
This is a delicious combination roasted to be perfect for espresso or traditional brewing. We worked to create something memorable to capture the flavor and joy of Summer.
10% of profits go to help protect salmon spawning grounds (called “redds”) on the Russian River, the wonderful waterway that connects our cafes.

Love a great cup of coffee which Redd autumn delivers
i have gotten this for the past two years. It’s reliable and impresses my guests.
Wait, this well balanced perfect medium will keep both French roast and light roast drinkers happy in the mornings. This coffee is so delicious (along with all the Redd blends), well balanced and keep you wanting another sip. It’s something I look forward to every morning and I feel a little lost with out when the beans run dry.
I usually buy single origins, and sometimes forget how nice a good blend is. The Redd blend is delicious! It's smooth and toasty, I'll be ordering it again. They categorize it as a seasonal blend, I hope it's a long season!
Been making this in a Hario Switch ground medium-fine half the water poured like a v60, at 45 seconds close the switch then Osmotic flow the rest of the water until 2:00 minutes hit. Delicious very well rounded textured coffee. Very little acidity but the dried red fruit notes like cherry show up. The star of this is the nuttyness. Great cup of coffee.
Rich cup with lightly floral notes. I am not usually a fan of floral or fruit coffee notes but this one had a nice balance. Made with my French press.
Good flavor and balanced strength. Helps to wake you up in the morning and get you going!! Also liked the name Redd. :)
Great, drinkable brew for our espresso machine!
Love your coffee! Red coffee is an excellent way to support the Russian River and start every morning with an amazing cup o joe. Great flavor…more chocolate and nuts and light floral..which is my favorites. Thanks Black Oak for making such wonderful roasts ❤️
We're huge fans of Black Oak. Used to live in Sonoma County, now live in Florida, but still order our beans from Black Oak. We've tried many different single origins and blends. This Redd Autumn is one of the best all around. It's a pleaser for those who like a slightly darker roast and those who prefer the nuances of light roast. I'm buying more.
Smooth and satisfying - a great start to the day.
My first cup was just great. It has a thick body, but yet inviting with its sweet and smooth taste. Perfect for the winter season.

Every once in awhile I manage to get coffee that really suits the season and this has been one. It works well with the pour over method and our morning coffee has been very enjoyable.
This is a very pleasant coffee - makes a good cup of coffee be it via my ECM espresso machine or MocaMaster drip brewer. Was hoping for more of the "berry" and "red fruit" notes, but really couldn't get a taste of these in the cup - flavor was balanced with the milk chocolate undertone. The aroma was good/fresh with a touch of fruitiness to it.
It's different from the classic Heartwood, but it could successfully bring the fresh in this warm season. It goes perfectly well with milk, love the seaonal products of Black Oak.
This is the best darn coffee EVER. Wandered in while in town for a dental appointment, and was blown away. Got home and called to see what did I drink?!? And ordered the 1st of many bags to come of this magical elixer.
This one displaces Honduras Roaster's reserve as my favorite Black Oak coffee. Simply delicious.
I got this to mix it up from my favorites, Black Bart and Roasters Reserve. This landed right in the middle for me, the rich smooth start, with mid peaks and an engaging finish. I used this with oat milk for lattes with a little sugar. Delicious.
