Each month we look forward to receiving really wonderful coffee. It’s been a pleasure being able to get the variety of so many fine selections. We love it.

I've been part of Trade and some local coffee clubs and this is on another level. Every coffee they've sent (so far) has been A+. I'm an amateur snob when it comes to pour overs and it's been really nice getting the little direction card that comes with each batch telling me the story and ideal temperature for each bean... it feels like I'm actually expanding my coffee expertise.

My taste buds were singing upon first sip of the Caturra Natural. The berry notes are super-present and a tangy but light finish has me constantly wishing I brewed more. The Poeta is a different kind of smooth but equally tasty, with a nice finish.

With the black oak tasting club, you get dank coffee on the reg. Not only is the coffee phenomenal, but my palette has increased tremendously. When people say, “notes of this, notes of that,” I now get what they’re talking about.

Also their customer service is dope. Every time I email them about something, a real actual human talks to me and explains things as if I’m also a real actual human. It’s nothing short of mind blowing. Love this company, love the coffee, and will continue my subscription for some time to come.

This is an easy one (see the title). Black Oak's pricing is so much better than, for example, Blue Bottle. The coffee selections and quality are much better, too. The communication on orders is perfect... Not too much spam, just the information I need. I learned about this place from my Brother-In-Law, and I switched over from Blue Bottle, which I had switched to after an Intelligentsia shop closed in my neighborhood. I am a happy coffee drinker since I began my Tasting Club subscription at Black Oak.

I am thrilled with my subscription to Black Oak Tasting Club. Best beans in the business. I used to only purchase the biggest bag of their house beans but now I can explore a little and try a variety. So yummy.

Fabulous coffee

I've been a member for almost a year. All the coffee I've gotten has been fantastic and so fresh. They've nailed the tasting club concept with perfect curation and selection of flavors every time. I only wish there was a way to go into my account online and see which coffees came in each shipment, then rate and reorder those specific beans. Maybe an email prompt asking me to rate the coffees a week or two after each shipment? I need this because I like everything so much that I have trouble remembering which bean I liked most when I go to order supplemental bags in between shipments!
