How Rewards Work
Loyalty subscription rewards work on a yearly cycle. Every 3rd, 6th and 12th order of each subscription "year" gets you our thanks plus great incentives.
Automatic Discount
You get 10% off your regular subscription order.
Gift Card or Mug
Get over 50% a bag of coffee as a regular purchase (in addition to your 15% subscriber discount) or swap for our limited edition mugs.
Gift Card or T-Shirt
Combine with your previous gift card for a free bag of coffee and cover the cost of shipping, or swap for a t-shirt. Great for gifting.
Ongoing Delights
The rewards keep coming. Stay subscribed and you'll get these rewards on order 3, 6, 12 and 15, 18, 24 and 27, 30, 36 et cetera.
Frequently Asked Questions
I've been a subscriber for years, why haven't I received all of these rewards?
We weren't able to roll this program out retroactively, even though we feel strong gratitude to our long term subscribers. The "order count" started with the roll out of the rewards program.
How do I know when I'll get my next reward?
If you are in your first year of your subscription, log in to your subscriber portal and at the top of the page you'll see rewards benchmarks. If you are eligible for a reward in your upcoming order, it will be highlighted with a green check box.
For longtime subscribers: to see what order you are on since the beginning of the rollout, log in to your subscription portal at MySubscription.blackoakcoffee.shop, and click the bird icon in the upper right, and you'll see your "total orders". This number reflects where you are in the "cycle". Rewards occur on order numbers 15, 18, 24, 27, 30, 36, 39, 42, 48 et cetera.
Can you apply the gift card reward to my next subscription order?
Our subscription platform doesn't allow this, so we opted to go with the gift card solution.
While they can only be used for separate, non-subscription orders, your 15% subscriber discount still applies, and with $30/year in rewards we've left enough for you to be able to get a single bag and cover shipping (or cover a good chunk of an order over $40, our free shipping threshold.)
How do I swap my gift card for a mug or t-shirt?
It's easy to swap the gift card reward for a free mug (6th order of cycle) or free t-shirt (12th order of cycle.)
To swap, log in to your subscriber portal, and next to the gift card product you'll see the option to "customize your gift". Choose what you'd like and you're set. These rewards will continue to cycle with new additions over time.
